The Malaysian Fight League expands with a three-event deal at Kuala Lumpur's premier indoor venue.
The Malaysian Fight League has announced a landmark deal with Axiata Arena, securing the iconic 16,000-seat venue for three events in the 2026 season.
The deal marks a significant step forward for the promotion, which launched in March 2025 and has quickly grown into Malaysia's premier MMA organization.
"Axiata Arena is a world-class venue, and MFL deserves a world-class stage," said the promotion's management in a statement. "Our fighters have earned this. Our fans have earned this. 2026 is going to be massive."
The first event under the deal is scheduled for July 2026. Rumours suggest it could feature the long-awaited superfight between welterweight champion Agilan Thani and featherweight champion Muhammad Aiman.
With the MFL's growing popularity — including over 16,000 Instagram followers and sellout crowds at MFL 3 in Sabah — the move to Axiata Arena represents the promotion's ambition to compete on the regional stage.
